Looking at costs, analysing changes to scope, tendering contracts, etc.
Yes of course; before this job, I didn't know anything about my role, but now I have gained lots of necessary skills.
I don't enjoy work, but I do enjoy learning about new systems, the people around me make it somewhat enjoyable to be at work.
Quite structured, with an internal competency programme mirrored on the APC. It can feel like you are struggling to find things to do at times, but as of yet, I've barely had that issue.
As much as I need everyone to be. So far, the people I've worked with have been understanding and able to explain complex tasks in a manageable way.
Not much, frankly. I don't rate LSBU highly.
Not at all.
Absolutely, if there's a sport you think you might want to play, there'll be a team for it—lots of socials and drinking...
Yes
It's a decent company, very corporate, but what company of this size isn't? I like my team; everyone I've worked with is friendly. The pay is Ok, but can't really blame them tbh, benefits are also standard 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
Be honest and confident, don't misrepresent yourself (apart from the obvious ways)
