  • Provide customer service for computer and laptop hardware and software. Assist with setting up and resolving issues in meeting rooms.

  • As I started the apprenticeship with little IT knowledge I have learnt a lot of new skills regarding the job.

  • I enjoyed learning information that would assist with my day to day work.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Communication with the training instructor could have been improved. When starting the apprenticeship myself and the manager asked if I would need to maybe spend time with the other IT departments to help with my final assessment. The training instructor said this would not be necessary but would have helped with certain aspects of the assessment which I did not do in my day to day work.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received a lot of support from my employer. They gave me time when I needed it to work on my assessment. Also finding asking other teams in IT what websites would assist

  • I received the support needed but communication could be improved.

  • The things I learnt from my qualification helps with my role and has made me more confident and knowledgeable when faced with an issue
