  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • currently studying towards my A license and a level 3 in technical knowledge accompanied by a level 2 in practical skills. My day to day activities include sitting and studying in class, visual learning by having demonstrations and occasional hands on activities.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed many skills while here such as, maintaining friendships, communication, hand skills, confidence, and improved my knowledge massively.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • my apprenticeship has given me experiences that I have never had, it has allowed me to expand my knowledge about life and what opportunities are out there. I have already had brilliant opportunities and its still early stages. I have also had the pleasure of making friends for life.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My apprenticeship is extremely well organized and has been consistent in the way it has run for years. it sticks to the schedule with opportunities to advance quick should I wish to.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I struggle mentally often, but the support i have received has helped me a lot. Both of my managers has offered me extra time in work to deal with my health and made educated suggestions on how i should get better. I feel I have been extremely lucky to have the managers that i do.

  • immense support from training provider. such a welcoming environment and all lecturers are happy to help and take out of their own free time to do so.

  • my qualification is going to help me a lot in my future role. This includes by pay, experience and communications and connections.

  • there are many extra curricular activities to be involved in such as STEM. This event allows you to inspire and promote people of all ages and abilities of the opportunities there are in STEM. there are many networking events and social activities to take part in.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Boeing to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • because it has completely transformed me as a person and my future for the better. it has already given opportunities that i do not believe come very often. i have never felt so welcomed and comfortable within a job role ever. I feel so supported and heard.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Boeing?
  • DO IT. You wont regret it. The employment process is an amazing experience in itself. Be confident, polite and kind. Grades only get you so far, your personality is what carries you all the way.
