  • I am the team leader of Livability in Hereford. I do day to day care and admin to ensure all my residents live a fulfilling life and get the best quality of care they all deserve. I ensure all quality checks are done and up to date to ensure consistency in care.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • During my qualification, I have developed my confidence and I feel I can explain and give the best outcomes when needed. I also have developed my math's and English skills during the qualification. I feel I am contributing the best of my skills when at my setting. Overall, This qualification has supported me regularly.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am currently really enjoying the qualification and it is giving me the best support and understanding each month. I like how I can adapt everything I have learnt into my work setting plus how it influences me when it comes to my residents.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I believe my qualification is very well structured. They provided me with a system called onefile which has all the function needed such as a learning journal and a planner. This is amazing use as I have great IT skills.

  • I receive great support from my managers, they provide me with the right time and space to complete this qualification.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • She is great and very supportive plus understanding. If I need advice I know I can turn to her an she will support me.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think my qualification has really benefitted me within my job role. i feel I am a better at being a team leader and its provided me with more confidence that i can do this role since starting the qualification.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Not currently but I would like to look into this as a staff team building exercise for all staff.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because I feel its reliable and very well timely mannered. I love how much support and resources are provided and I feel its able to easily be adapted into the real world.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Realise?
  • To keep to the programme and if you have any concerns, to discuss with your trainer as they are great at supporting us.
