Building Services Design Apprentice Review

Calculating and designing Building service systems, MEP (Mech, electrical and Public health. Using Softwares to visually model the designs.

Plenty of new skills have been learnt. Carrying out different calculations, learning new softwares. Well round knowledge of all MEP disciplines

I very much enjoy the work side of the programme. There is a structure which is regularly reviewed, and allows new responsibilities depending on which rotation i am in. The rotations allow me to work in different teams

The programme has a great structure, I have been assigned a different rotation and discipline every 6 monhts, to allow me to experience all parts of the sector

I receive support from all employees when asking for help, everyone is always happy to share knowledge and assist.

I receive support from lecturers when needed, other additional support is also offered

My role and qualification tie very closely with each other. I always learn new things at work or uni, and can apply them to each other.

Work has social events every few months, regular sports, we all receive professional networking events.
