  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoyed the most part of my apprenticeship. Learning about areas that I had no knowledge of before was very interesting and I was able to identify areas which | already had knowledge in that would be useful in my current role. The program was a overall positive experience for me that I enjoyed.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I felt that the program could have been better structured. It was difficult to get hold of my tutor outside of our monthly session where I was taught that months topic. I also raised with my tutor that I did not like how a lot of the time a couple of months topics were done in one session, meaning it was a lot of information to remember for a months time when the tasks were set.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer was extremely supportive. My manager always checked with me if I required more time to complete my tasks and was always happy to help if I required it. Members of my team were also very helpful, as several of them had completed an apprenticeship, they were able to provide help and support with tasks when I was unsure.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I feel like the support from the provider was extremely lacking. Several times I contacted my tutor as I was unsure of something and would either not receive a reply or receive a response where they just copied in the question that I was having an issue with, providing no additional support. When I was signed off on sick leave for 3 weeks unexpectedly, my tutor told me that in future I should let her know in advance if that is going to happen.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Certain aspects of my qualification will help me greatly in my role. topics such as time management will help me manage my day better and the skills that I have learnt for programs that I was unsure of will help me greatly and increase my worth as an employee and allow me to offer my manager more in terms of help for a wider range of tasks.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are several extra curricular activities that are on offer at my workplace. Our team has a monthly meal outside of work where we can relax with our co workers in a social setting. The company also offers quiz nights and social events such as bowling in the past which have been well received and well attended.
