    9/10

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, learning about line management, budgets, new technical skills such as data analysis, CRM and implementing chatbots

    10/10

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The practical element - taking what I've learnt from workshops and applying it to my job

    6/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Not very well structured as I was the only one learning on the new format. It felt a bit disjointed and made completing the written work quite difficult.

    3/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • It's quite hard to manage setting time aside to complete the written work as deadlines and workload priorities tend to get in the way.

    5/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • There is too much written "assignment" style work to complete. I thought the apprenticeship would be more about practicing on the job and collecting relevant examples of this.

    4/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Definitely attending the workshops is the best part

    5/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, all of the above and it is encouraged. We also have good progression opportunities and regular departmental "shares" to discuss current projects and objectives

    8/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend Bournemouth University to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It's a great place to work with great professional opportunities and friendly staff

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bournemouth University?
  • It helps to have knowledge of higher education, so even if your work experience doesn't include this, read up on the challenges facing HE and what the market trends are like. How would your job at BU make a difference?
