  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoyed the variety off the job and the fact I was learning on the job as well as studying along side it, my tutor supported me throughout and was very encouraging. I found the LMP app very helpful in topping up my CPD in relevant subjects such as Understanding ADHD and Behaviour.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It was well-structured although I lacked a tutor for the first two months which kept me feeling a bit lost but as soon as my new tutor was assigned I felt in good hands. I think it would be worth having sessions on how to fill out the off the job hours part in a suitable way.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received more support from my class teacher when I first started, then a new head came in at the end of the 1st year and really helped my with my course. I have had lots of guidance from the other teachers and TA's too. I got the impression that the employers didn't know what to expect from an apprentice or how to guide me as it was their first time having an apprentice - meetings with them and my tutor in the beginning would have been beneficial for both parties.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I had plenty of support and knew if I need any help of guidance, I could email or phone anytime. Again, the beginning was a bit rocky due to my original assigned tutor leaving but as soon as I had a new one, it has been absolutely fine. She was very very supportive.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel the assignments helped me gain good knowledge in the job role and I could use this in my day to day role. The LMP app has been a great boost to my learning and I have tried to put what I have learnt into practice. It has given me a better understanding of many educational elements.
