  • In my role, I thoroughly investigate potential fraud, financial wrongdoing, and questionable behaviours. Daily, I carefully monitor and assess transactional data, look for anomalies and patterns, and start inquiries to reduce risk and make sure the bank and its clients are secure. I work with a variety of teams, including those in fraud prevention.

  • I have gained important knowledge and abilities in risk reduction, financial crime investigation, and fraud detection through my proactive job as an investigator at Starling Bank. I have developed my abilities to analyse data, spot red flags, and expose instances of fraudulent behaviour using cutting-edge tools and technology at all in the workplace.

  • I am quite satisfied with my proactive investigator job at Starling Bank. It is very rewarding to be a part of the bank's dedication to maintaining a safe and dependable banking environment. I am driven and involved in my profession because researching financial crime is challenging and stimulating as a course work.

  • To ensure consistency and adherence to industry best practises, we have put in place clearly defined procedures and processes for conducting investigations. We keep up with the most recent investigation methods and new trends in financial crime through regular training and knowledge-sharing events. It has a thorough, organised approach to operation.

  • I am fortunate to work for a company that is really encouraging. The bank gives our staff the required equipment, instruction, and resources because it recognises the value of proactive inquiry in maintaining a secure banking environment. The bank also promotes a welcoming workplace environment where coworkers and management are always accessible to offer advice, share knowledge, and work together on investigations.

  • My work as a proactive investigatorhas been substantially enhanced by the certification I received from the training provider. It validates my expertise in financial crime investigation while laying a strong foundation of knowledge and abilities. With a better understanding of investigative techniques, legal doctrine, and regulatory compliance thanks to this qualification, I will be better equipped to promote the bank's proactive investigation programmes.
