  • I manage the assets and financial resources of an organisation. This involves handling finances, making financial planning and forecasts, and keeping track of how well objectives and goals are being met. I am accountable for completing financial analysis, keeping track of finances, conducting audits and inspections, and giving senior staff recommendations and guidance on asset management and other related matters every day. I also examine firm policies and practises to make sure they are current and in line with any laws and regulations that may be in effect. Finally, I try to ensure that resources are used effectively in order to maximise investment return and reduce risk.

  • Yes, I have learnt and developed new skills during my tenure as an asset officer. I have developed advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify financial opportunities and initiatives. I have also strengthened my knowledge of financial accounting and investments, as well as developed expertise in monitoring financial performance and budgeting. My organizational and project management skills have also been enhanced, as I am regularly called upon to provide timely and accurate updates to senior staff and management regarding projects and financial performance. Finally, I have refined my ability to interpret, review, and adjust financial budgets in order to meet and exceed company goals and objectives.

  • I adore what I do as an asset officer. It gives me the chance to use the abilities I've developed and refined in the finance industry to the advantage of the business. This gives me the chance to advance both personally and professionally while also giving back to the company I love. The job also provides me with networking chances with industry experts, which motivates me to keep learning and developing.

  • My course is incredibly structured and organised. I have a working framework that includes all duties and tasks related to asset management. This entails having precise deadlines and performance goals, as well as monitoring and adapting budgets and plans as necessary. I also have access to fantastic resources, training opportunities, and support when I need it. These elements have made it possible for me to work effectively and efficiently.

  • Yes, there are extra-curricular activities to get involved in at my work. These activities provide an opportunity for networking, while also providing an enjoyable break from the everyday routine.
