I am in charge of the facility's daily operations, including the animals' health and welfare, the upkeep of the facilities, and the staff's security. As well I also collaborate with a group of knowledgeable experts to make sure the institution is run in a secure, effective, and compassionate way.
I now know how to lead a staff team successfully and I have improved my ability to resolve conflicts and solve problems. I am now more adept at using safety gear and equipment for animal care and have a better grasp of animal welfare and behaviour. My ability to communicate has grown too.
