  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Supporting in lessons with SEN students. Providing intervention on the daily basis. Also, managing students with behaviour issues. Helping teachers with learning materials and SEN department with feedback and notes on certain programs, like PIVATS and Educay, Provisions maps.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how education system works. What do we need to do to succeed for our new generation. How to protect and what signs do we need to look out for if any of our students are in trouble.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It was not easy and I had to put a lot of work during my free time. However, I did not mind, I wanted to do my best and to do that, you need to put work in it. I enjoyed being part of the LMP group.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program is quite well structured. As I am from different country, I had to provide/translate/compare my qualification and that was a bit of a hard one. The structure was good, easy to follow.

  • My employer helped me as much as they were able to with my apprenticeship.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My tutor was brilliant. He was always answering my emails. We had regular meetings and he helped me constantly with anything I needed help with.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I had to go through all the policies, take part in seminars, research how education system works. All this information helps me every day to do the best for our students.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Not at the moment. As far as I know, they are looking into that.
