My role was to develop and create functionality for both the internal system and the customer app.
I have learned about asp core mvc as well as jquery, entity framework and ajax to name a few as well as develop time management skills and developed how to conduct myself during meetings.
I enjoyed not only the day to day working but also the training aspect as well.
It was okay, training occurred every few months. apart from that I was either taught about something briefly or had to learn it on my own.
The apprenticeship side I kept to myself, resorting only to contact my training provider about any help. From time to time it would be brought up by my employer but not much help was given.
I received a lot of support from firebrand, whether it was to do with a project I was doing or just to check up, they were always helpful and quick to respond to any issue I had.
It has made me more efficient and quicker at not only coding, but also developing as well. The qualification has also allowed me to be a bit more independenr and confident which allowed me to come up with solutions on my own.
Bar a Christmas party, there were no activities.
No
The work was absolutely fine, had no issues with it whatsoever. More to do with the personalities within.
Be confident in the interview and make sure you have the skills and knowhow that you say you do.
