    • Working with suppliers and engineers to place contracts for pieces of equipment. Working on admin tasks, spreadsheets, weekly/daily meetings.

    • The apprenticeship has definitely helped to improve my confidence and communication skills, as well as IT Skills.

    • It depends on the placement. Some placements are really enjoyable and you gain a lot from, but others not so much.

    • I am a supply chain apprentice, however the qualification that I am working towards is a L2 Business Administration. I think it would benefit me more if there was a level 2 supply chain qualification that I could work towards, as this would relate more to my job.

    • Yes there are often activities held, such as away days.

    • Yes

    • The benefits from working at BAE Systems are brilliant - competitive salary, share scheme, pension, cycle-to-work scheme etc.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?

    • Be confident and show personality - I can only speak for supply chain personally, but being a 'people person' is really encouraged here.
