    • i am currently working to improve the system of work that is used across the shop floor by implementing new systems and technology.

    • i have greatly increased my people skills as well as my ability to manage various projects

    • i very much enjoy the work i do.

    • it is fairly well structured and i have a lot of influence in regards to what i want to learn while on placement

    • i recieve a lot of support from my placement/ PoC and have 12 weekly reviews with early careers

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • i receive adequate support but sometimes it can be lacking from individual teachers rather than them as a whole

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • i feel that it has slightly increased my knowledge of engineering in general but it hasnt come into my placement work at all really since starting the business, as it is all experienced and people based skills that are useful.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

    • i play in a 6 a side football team with other work colleagues.

  • 9a. Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?

    • Yes

  • 9b. Why?

    • It has major benefits as an apprentice including great pay and a good qualification all paid for. As well as extremely interesting work.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?

    • Go for it as once you get a job with BAE Systems you are sorted for life or you can gain the experience and the reputation to follow other opportunities within your function all over the world.
