  • I do check in for an airline in a customer service role meaning no two days are the same when working with the public.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My communication skills have definitely developed and confidence, how to work under pressure. I have also learnt a lot about time management and how important it is.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my program with British airways they have amazing support for you and I am so glad I decided to do an apprenticeship.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well we have two study days a month including a 1-1 with our coach to make sure we are on track.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of support is offered from all around, I always feel like I can go to someone when I need to.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We get 1-1 with them every month but can also email them when ever in need of help.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Talking about past experiences and what I could do better and what I would do next time if in the same situation.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We can go to different schools to talk about the apprenticeship schemes and also take part in different events for our charity flying start.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because I really enjoy working with the company they give you so much support and they are very understanding also there are so many different areas you can move round to which the people there will help you go where you want to be .


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to British Airways?
  • Be yourself and give it go it is definitely worth it!
