My day to day role includes caring for the elderly, administering medication amd providing companionship.
I have developed all my skills and knowledge
I really enjoyed it and I'm hoping that this will further my carer
Had a rocky start but it soon panned out amd was smooth sailing
My employer was helpful in a way that they got me onto days and also diddnt request I do so much overtime so that I could complete the course
I received quiet abit of help
I feel that it opens my eyes to things I may not remeber from level 2 but also goes further into detail
Work allows you to help with events such as Christmas or summer fate
Yes
The job itself is rewarding and the residents are all lovely. Staff too can be lovely
Don't go into care if you do not feel you are patient, because this job requires plenty of it. Always wear a smile it cheers the residents up
