  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • During my Day to Day I am required to validate payments for suppliers. I also contact suppliers regarding payment time frames and other queries they may have but this can be a lot of things on the spectrum of AP related. I also go in case by case basis to ensure amounts are correct before payment.

  • I have learned the new systems at work and the uses of having these in place as they make it so much easier to work daily with a prominent software. I have also been able to develop my team working and communication skills with weekly meetings. I have also improved my problem solving skills as anything can come up day to day.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure of the programme is well organised as we knew going into it the department we would be starting with as well as the time frame of 9 months before we move to another department in the business to broaden our skills. This means that we won't be stuck doing the same tasks daily there will always be something else foe us to learn.
