  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have been able to develop upon a range of existing skills, such as my communication skills, if it is not by hosting meetings and being able to communicate effectively to ensure myself and the team complete the tasks assigned. Which in turn relates to me developing my leaderships skills, where I had to host meetings and arrange them to complete an essential task related to a project. Also I have learnt new skills by doing training courses and kaizens, which have been very beneficial to my day to day role.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme has been structured very well, especially considering that this is the first time the business has had project management apprentices. I would say after the first initiation phase some of the structure wasn't there but after having a discussion with my apprenticeship guide, then my managers. I was able to get the structure I needed and it is going well in that sense.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My college has provided me with a lot of support during my apprenticeship course. This is due to them providing a apprenticeship mentor who I have regular catch ups with and I can ask question regarding the course or the college. Then the apprenticeship tutor they have provided me with, has been very helpful as they are willing to provide support wherever they can to ensure my success.

  • During my apprenticeship course, I have gained a ton of relevant information and knowledge that I have been able to utilize during my time at work. • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are a range of extra-curricular activities to be a part of within my workplace. If it is not a charity event, it could be a school visit around the local area. It could also be visits to places around the UK in which we will try to achieve the goal of a 100k walk. My workplace makes an active effort to provide extra-curricular activities.
