  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I assist in internal audits, which means checking the controls in place in departments, and how effective these controls are. We provide recommendations on how procedures can be improved. Audits consist of holding interviews to find out more about how the processes work, and giving deadlines for the recommendation. It involves a lot of planning and research before meetings.

  • The programme is really well structured and organised. We were all given a plan showing what our apprenticeship will entail, and information about the different modules and what we will be learning. We are sent meeting invites for our sessions well in advance, and the tutors are always well prepared for the sessions.
