  • I've learned a host of new skills including stakeholder management; scientific and technical communication; project management; computer modelling; manufacturing process creation etc.

  • Very well organised and structured, requires apprentices to be responsible for their own development too which is good.

  • Support is faultless, numerous ways to get support if needed.

  • Support is great.

  • Nuclear engineering degree for a nuclear engineer makes a good fit - helps a lot.

  • We're working on improving this aspect of our schemes but there is plenty there for those proactive enough to find them!

  • BAE Systems represents the pinnacle of cutting edge technology, enormous engineering projects and corporate prosperity. It is a great environment for someone starting off in their career no matter what age, background or area they come from. It is a blue-chip company that values talent and hard work.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Take your time understanding the business unit, product, customer and programme timeline. Talk about all your experiences from weekend jobs to academic performance. Don't worry about saying the right things in the right way, speak openly and be honest about your goals, ambitions, strengths and weaknesses. Enjoy the process!
