  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I complete workflows as my main workload however i also complete payments to clients for people on my team, this is where a tenant will pay rent into the savills bank account then i will instruct these funds to be sent back to the landlord. i will also assist people in my team with any adhoc tasks that can help reduce their workload

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • The main skill i have developed is my communication skills. along with many much such as IT skills on programs such as excel, word etc. but also time management has been a skill I've had to learn due to have lots of different tasks with deadlines to meet

  • i love it

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • very well organised. always have a set time for college and during my college time im not bothered with work and both my tutor and line manager are always available and capable of helping me with any questions to do with my apprenticeship programme. and always feel like I'm progressing and that my line manager has a plan for my progression

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • loads. my line manager has always offered her expertise to help me with my AAT college work. and also offered to book me meeting rooms in the office so that i have a place to do my college work where i wont be disturbed

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • a lot of support. our small class sizes allow for a good amount of 1 to 1 time during our sessions, and outside of college we can email our tutor if we need help with anything and they are willing to use their free time to call us out of college days to go through something that we may need help on, whether it be a topic in class or our portfolio

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • it helps to a degree. theres lots of transferrable knowledge that we can use in our job role but since i work in property management, a lot isnt that useful such as partnership accounts, marginal costing etc

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • there are loads of opportunities presented to us. whether it be the football team or charitable activities, we are always receiving emails asking for volunteers in varying activities. I'm on the departments social team meaning im responsible for the planning and organising of networking events

  • Yes

  • cause its a great apprenticeship and good way to enter a career that you want


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
  • There's a lot to take in when you first start so ask loads of questions to make sure you understand not just how to do things, but why we do them as well.
