  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme massively as it gives me a great sense of accomplishment after each module I complete and every new project that I take onboard. This type of programme comes with its challenges with balance and time management but this is a part of the learning curve that each apprentice faces each day.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is structured well for the majority of aspects, it's clear what direction you are heading however, with everything in life, there can be some uncertainty around certain aspects however feedback has been taken on board and it is clear that improvements are being made constantly throughout my 3 years on board

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive more support than expected from my employer, I am constantly encouraged to push myself and prioritize my development and degree over other aspects of the role. My development is seen as key and this makes me feel very valued as an individual which motivates me to work harder each day

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The support from the university has been lacking at times during the beginning of the course, however as this course has developed and feedback has been taken on board this has improved massively and you can see how this will benefit future students and apprentices who take a similar path

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification is slightly different from the role that I complete however these skills are still transferable from data science when it comes to data analysis, project management and working as a team. These have been valuable to both myself and my team through the entire term of my apprenticeship

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I attend many social networking events from well-being to data science related events. These are great to help to understand the great mix of people that you work with and understand how they play their part in the organisation performing. This has been one of the most rewarding parts of the scheme.
