  • yes - i have learned a great deal of information around corporate leadership, including strategy, ethics, organisational management etc

  • i enjoy the opportunity to grow as a professional and learn concepts that extend beyond my organisation. i appreciate the opportunity to get a degree without sacrificing/ postponing my existing career

  • on the whole it has been good but there have been elements that could have been better organised.

  • my line manager is very supportive

  • i have received all the support I need to fulfil the qualification.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • it grants new, better perspectives and the apprenticeship model is great as it allows you to put concepts into practice immediately in a live organisation - this helps to better understand the theories in general - but the best element is it enables you to better understand what works (and doesn't work!) for you as a professional

  • there are but this could be improved.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • it is a great place to develop professionally - lots of mobility to progress and explore roles and professions (such as engineering, project management, leadership, operations, etc)


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Thames Water?
  • be proactive with your personal development and explore as much of the business as you can - it is a huge organisation and there is so much to learn
