Studying for our A licence modules and doing exams Completing EAL for the apprenticeship Doing practical tasks in the hanger to build up our hand skills before OJT (on the job training)
Learnt how to use various different types of tools and how to follow a maintenance manual. Learnt how to write essays and fill out task reports to correct standard
I thoroughly enjoy the program and its intense and pushes me out my comfort zone
The overall course is well organized and we have set dates for exams and a set time scale for modules to be executed and learnt
We receive loads of support from our employer and they are always there if we need help and support and always try give us the best guidance
We receive alot of support from our lecturers in our training provider and they give us support on certain things we need
Practical tasks within the hanger will help us prepare for the OJT and set us up well for when we do. We also get our a licence whilst training which will help for future jobs
There are STEM events we can participate in and occasionally social activities like awards to attend
Yes
Because its a very good way to get into the industry and you can also get your A license on the side of getting hands on skills and working
Be confident be yourself be honest and integral
