  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I create social media graphics on canva and manage social media accounts and gather content for the social media account. I ensure that posts are sent out daily and I use hootsuite to post it. I also work on newsletters and when needed I order flyers on request.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how to use canva and hootsuite and improved my communication skills as I have to work apart of a team and attend meetings often. I have also enhanced my design skills because it is very important for me to create different graphics and use the brand colours.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme because my tutor is very kind and helpful, she supports me throughout the programme and lets me know that I will be able to ask her questions when I need to and she will provide me feedback. I also enjoy doing digital marketing at my workplace.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The apprenticeship is very well organised and structured, my tutor sets up meetings monthly to go over the work she has set me, she also reassures me that if I need help, I can always ask her. I am aware of what I need to complete and how to succeed.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My manager assigns me tasks and helps me when I need it, I am very independent at work and am expected to learn things by work shadowing others. When I first started, I was also assigned a buddy to support me if I needed any help or had any questions.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support from the training provider, I have a tutor who is very encouraging and supportive, they praise me a lot and have confidence that I will excel in the course. They make sure I understand the work and explain everything really well and answer questions.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As I am taught many things, I am able to apply it to my role as I have learnt it. For example if I have learned about google analytics in my qualification, I would be able to understand how I can use that to track and analyse the website performance.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are many social activities and there are meetings set up in order to get support or even just chat. Everyone is friendly with one another. There are team lunches occasionally and fun outings where everyone gets involved. There are also sports activities and there is a staff newsletter too.

  • 9a. Would you recommend LMP Group to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend LMP Group because there are very friendly, supportive staff to help you and to talk to and if you have any questions they will answer them. It is nice to be able to work from home too and also the work is fun if you are passionate.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to LMP Group?
  • I would recommend that you really enjoy the industry you're going into because everyone else at the company really enjoys what they do, as you will be working, you need to be able to enjoy the tasks and responsibilities you will be assigned. It is good to research everything first.
