  • My role involves working in an agile way to create applications and software solutions for internal and external clients

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many new skills whilst enjoying the process. I have become accredited in some of these skills which Fujitsu has funded.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am enjoying the work greatly however the University studies are less enjoyable

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is fairly well structured however I think the structure has been in place for many years and needs to change with the times.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The learning support is phenomenal, I receive plenty of time to learn and develop on the job. The benefits package leaves a bit to be desired and financial support is severely lacking.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Amazing level of support, I cannot fault Fujitsu in this respect. I receive ample time and encouragement to work towards my degree.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • There is an overlap between my study and my work which allows me to apply the University work on the job. However not all study is relevant.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is a small amount of these but there is limited support from Fujitsu so are mainly organised between employees.

  • Yes

  • I think the learning oppurtunities are massive, it's a great start in the tech world.

  • Be yourself in the application process and make sure to contribute to all the tasks.
