  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • initially the beginning stage there was a lack of direction during the onboarding process from the company, however a few months in i felt like i began to get better opportunities to learn and expand my expierence

  • i have learnt a multitude of new skills during my time at MUFG, these include work base skills as well as transferable behavioural based skills. however at times exposure to chances to learn new skills was slow or not carried out the best way it could of been

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • id say that the programme has been enjoyable as it has allowed me to meet and collaborate with new people in a professional setting. however i feel that compared to other apprenticeship schemes i have missed out on networking experiences/events

  • id like to say that at times the organisation of the programme has been lackluster and is more of a going with the motion type of feel. there have been instances in which plans and structures have been carried out and worked though

  • id say for the most part the support is there if needed

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • given some time to revise but not always consistent or set out due to workload , however if there is time available you are mostly free to allocate that time to studies. but if there isnt any then you may find yourself catching up at home

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • so far the majority of the content which i have learnt does not relate to my role and is not relevant to my day to day duties

  • mostly at the main branch

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • is a large comapny so there is an oppurtunity to learn from not only the jbo aspect but those around you


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to MUFG?
  • to make sure you allocate your own personal time to break away from the working environment and be open to any networking opportunities or chances to learn new skills which may arise
