  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role consists of a few jobs. Such as making sure learners are ready for their enrollment session. Every learner must complete a Maths and English assessment and it is my job to set the learners up with an account, set the assessments, sent the learner their log in details and keep checking they have completed it. Once completed i call the learner to kindly ask if i can book them in for an enrollment session with one of the enrollment officers on my team. I also work on 4-week check ins, where i check up on an apprentice after 4 weeks of them starting their apprenticeship. I ask a few questions and if something is not right i do my best to support. Of course within all of this i do basic admin duties such as sending emails. pulling reports, dealing with customer inquiries, making calls and helping my co-workers the best i can.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Since working here, i have learned a great amount of skills. The way that i word my emails, the way i talk to customers on the phone, how to deal with problems. Ive learned time management skills, I've learned many different things from my assessor too whilst completing my course work. Nearly everyday i learn something new. even if it is something little.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I very very enjoy my program! I have always been the type of person to be very introverted, very nervous to ask for help and i tend to panic when i am confused and not sure what to do. But here i feel like i can turn to anyone for help and i would never be made little or stupid because of it.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My program is very well structured, both in my work and in my apprenticeship. When i am working, my manager always makes sure that i start with the easy and work my way up. for example, when i started i was only doing basic admin duties, now i call learners support learners etc. Within my apprenticeship, my assessor is always well organised, giving me the right amount of work and a great amount of time to complete it. ensuring that my apprenticeship will be completed on time.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a great amount of support. If i am struggling or stuck, i know i don't have to figure it out on my own, everyone who i work with is always there wen i need them and just a phone call or an email away. My manager is so supportive because if i don't understand something she will take the time to run through it again with me.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive the best amount of support! Not that long ago i was struggling, i was finding it hard to fit course work into my schedule and i felt as tho i was letting my team down. But my team released this and they came together to help me with my course work, they gave me time to complete it and i received a ton of advice to help me. Now i am back on track and it is all thanks to LMP.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I know my qualification makes me perform better because it teaches me many things that i can bring to and not only take to knowledge. such as understanding why some learners may seem a little stressed and frustrated and how to deal with them. Understanding the company policies and how i can make sure i follow them within my every day working. I definitely see myself working better thanks to my learning.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes! On the 6th of May 2022, I was invited to the company's 18th birthday party. and nearly everyone i worked with attended. Working from home is rare you get to see anyone outside of your computer screen, it was so lovely meeting new faces and seeing the people i work with. i've always been a shy and nervous person, but when i was with my team and at the party, i felt really proud and confident.
