  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As a social media analyst, I mainly focus on analyzing the social platforms of the company and using analyzing sites to put together information and dashboards to publish the data and present figures through graphs and visual representations. My role helps other people in the company too.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have not only learned several new skills, but I have also furthered my understanding of skills I had prior to my apprenticeship. I have been very happy with the number of skills I have now added to my skillset.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I do enjoy my programme - the only negative comment I'd have is that sometimes the job role and apprenticeship don't always align, meaning it can be difficult to apply what you are learning to a real-life situation. I understand this is an issue with a niche role.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well organised - no complaints

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • An ample amount of support. Not too much that I am being guided through, yet not too little that I am sitting back and struggling. Very much the perfect amount of support received.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Ample amount of support - although not always attentive in reaching out to check up outside of scheduled calls, they are always more than happy to attend to your needs and sort something out to make sure you are ok.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Although not yet, I know that the future modules I will be learning will help my role a lot. By making tasks less time consuming and easier. The new skills I will learn will be of a lot of value as and when I learn them.

    8/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, loads running throughout the year to get involved in. Always something for someone. If you want to get involved.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Sage to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Sage has and offers everything that I would want from a company. I can't fault the brand on that front.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Sage?
  • Seriously consider the brand if you have found a job on offer at Sage.
