  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme at Aston has improved during my time on the course. My personal skills tutor has been extremely supportive and helpful throughout the duration of the course and has helped maintain my motivation to continue during tough periods (such as covid-19). Earlier on the course wasn't organised in the best way but now as I near the end, with new programme directors, massive improvements have been made, especially with communication.

  • There have been numerous modules on the course that have really supported and aided my own development within the workplace with not only knowledge but the basis of skills that have enabled me to go onto perform tasks within the company. • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Prior to the global pandemic, my employer organised multiple activities such as company wide fun days for all employees. Specifically for the apprenticeship programme, different team building events were organised either out of bounds or onsite to help us develop vital skills and learn to work better together. With restrictions lessening, hopefully these events will start to be planned again.
