  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • During my apprenticeship one of the biggest skills I have developed on is my communication skills. More specifically face to face or over the phone communication. As well as communication I have also developed the skill to pick out detail and do things with both accuracy and speed, trying not to let one affect the other too much.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • As part of my programme I really enjoy my team. The team works well and is full of helpful and experienced people that are willing to help out whenever needed. As well as this the Company culture is good, This may be due to it being within the motor trade and I am a fan of the vehicles that are sold.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The training provider also provides lots of support when working towards my qualification. To start with the weekly sessions on Mondays are all about learning the AAT curriculum. The tutor that hosts these sessions is very helpful on the Mondays so you can ask her any questions needed but she is also very willing to help if needed during the week.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The learning I am doing through my apprenticeship is very helpful during my daily tasks as some of it relates directly and some of it is done in the background but it is helpful to understand the theory behind the proses as well as the proses it self. I defiantly know more about my role through the apprenticeship.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are a few activities that have happened that I have been involved in. Most of them are more social events than about work. They tend to happen when the business as a whole performs well. There has also been a couple of work related networking activities such as external training that have also had social aspects.
