  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • on a day to day this role consist of me using different technologies to fulfil the needs of the client. one day we could be using visual studio code the next day we could be using figma or outsystems it really depends on the training we are doing or the project we are on

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • yes i have learnt many new skills and developed more of my skills. like i was fairly decent with html and css but i was able to improve on my skills with the training and mini projects provided. i also learnt on a smaller scale how typescript and java script work.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • to a high pedigree because the programme offers so much to learn even things you didnt think you would learn in your first year they let you know about it before the time comes to start training which allows you to go and do your own research and practise on it.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • very organised in terms of the work section and in terms of university it is alright there were some issues in the first semester but that has already been sorted out. the time frame or uni and work is easy to work with so it is fine to structure your self

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • i have and continue to receive a lot of support from my employers, any issues i have i can bring it up to my manager or my work buddy. it is a comfortable place to work in and easy going even though other people have a higher status it never feels like there is one

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • you receive the average support since you are only there once a week in my case at least but im sure if you go there full time it is a lot easier to have better support and communication with the training provider but from my experience the support is decent

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • the qualification that i am receiving from my training provider will help me to perform in my role better because it allows me to take real life scenarios and look at them and see how i can improve them. courses like work - based studies also helps as it is a module on learning how to perform properly in a working environment

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • there are some but i do not have time to join the one's for uni but for work yes i have joined a few and they are actually better than what i expected them to be because it is fun and everyone else there is also trying to have fun

  • 9a. Would you recommend Fujitsu to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Fujitsu is an amazing environment to work in it is very diverse so it is nice to mingle with people of different backgrounds and cultures. it is also a place where that want you to learn and not come with years of experience but rather you come with a mindset of ready to learn


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fujitsu?
  • make sure you are true to your self do not go on saying you know how to code at the highest level or that you are an expert in accounting and sales when you are not they are happy that you come to them with a mindset of ready to learn
