  • Assisting lead surveyor in valuations, payments, cost reporting and general day to day surveying.

  • Procurement, valuations, how to assess a payment, progress of a site, communication, teamwork, construction understanding.

  • Really enjoy it - much happier than I was in my previous role.

  • Structured well within my office, however seems to not be much support from the head office who set up the programme originally.

  • A fair amount of support.

  • Currently, 6 months in, the content has felt distant from the role of a QS.
