  • Regular workplace training with other members of the R&D department. Including training in the use of analytical equipment and statistical techniques

  • Enjoyable to work with a great team and be allowed to develop my independent working skills. The company has a good culture that is inclusive and diverse

  • Regular reviews with the university skills team to ensure my learning is on track, with a personal development plan including targets I can work towards. Clear communication of upcoming units and examinations

  • Personal mentoring from an experienced member of the team. Strongly supporting of independent learning and problem solving within the workplace.

  • Tutors are accessible and always willing to help, offering one-to-one sessions to go through work if I have any difficulties. The course is engaging and relevant to my role in the workplace.

  • The apprenticeship standard is relevant to my job and enhances my understanding of the work I do, the same is true of the units in my degree, which involve learning about Workplace Regulations, Analytical techniques, and methods of business improvement

  • Active sports and social club who organize discounts for events and tickets. As well as a community action team who make donations to local groups. The onsite gym is a nice added bonus.
