  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Customer Service Apprentice and qualified service technician. On a daily basis I, raise job cards, order parts, submit warranty claims, book in parts, book in customers, allocate parts to jobs, invoice jobs, help customers with minor vehicle issues, take delivery of parts and order parts for our SVO department.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed my skills to enhance my current job role. My technician skills help with everyday tasks, especially when customers have minor issues with their vehicles, I can easily and quickly rectify them. I have shadowed my line manager so i can stand in for him when he's away.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoy the programme. It is very rewarding helping customers resolve issues with their vehicles. The apprenticeship work isn't stressful and I have a clear understanding of what tasks are important. The tasks fit in and around my day-to-day job.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is very well organised. I have meetings every month to monitor my progress. I can talk to my assessor if I am stuck on any particular task.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My manager helps me out wit tasks also. I receive good support from my manager and colleagues in order to complete task required for my apprenticeship.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I can email at any time and receive an answer fairly quickly. I can talk to my assessor and they can help me out as much as possible.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Very well. The training has helped me engage with customers in a better way and also dealing with complex issues more efficiently too. This helps day-to-day and I can also teach colleagues new skills that I've learned.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are brand event days - this helps us get familiar with new products such as a new vehicle. The days are very fun and exciting. We can test out the new vehicles and engage with them so we can learn the new features.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Stellantis is a very good company to work for. You feel at home with everyone who works here and everyone is very friendly. It is very rewarding helping out customers and you feel very satisfied when completing tasks.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Stellantis?
  • Familiarise yourself with the brand - this will be very rewarding as there are more vehicle brands to learn about. Definitely go for it - Stellantis is a brilliant company to work for and you will feel proud to work for them.
