  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • i am a beauty therapist my roles from day to day are cleaning before and after appointments, making drinks for clients regularly, giving my clients the full 5 star experience my role is to give people the best time possible and make them feel comfortable. i enjoy this job it makes me happy.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • during my beauty apprenticeship i have learnt lots of new things from communication too service. my main skill i have learnt is confidence, confidence is a big skill because if you do not have confidence within yourself you can not achieve what you would like too. my service skill have improved massively.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • i love my training program because if i have a query or worry i always know i have many people i can ask and trust. i feel comfortable which is the main thing, i couldn’t have got a better training. i believe they provide a 5 star training program.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • my program is well organised everyone always know what to do and how things are set out. everything is in a schedule which is perfect, because it’s hard to forget when it is repetitive. my program couldn’t be better, everyone is always here to help and everyone is lovley

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • my employer gives me so much support which i love, we have weekly meeting and always manage to have a catch up. i trust my employer which means i am able to announce any issues or problems i have confidently. me and my employer get on well and there is never any conflict within the workplace

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • i receive all the support i possibly can. everyone communicates really well so everyone is always on the same page, if i have a question everyone is just a text away and they are happy to help. we do zoom calls and face to face classes and my training provider is always sending me revision.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • i believe it helps me to preform better at my job because we are always doing role plays and giving constructive feedback which helps to correct my mistakes. we talk about work a lot to make sure i’m up to stampeded and doing the best i can. i always feel supported.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • there are no extra cirricular activities at my works. due to the salon being placed in a private office block. there are not many activities but work always keep me busy which is fantastic. if i’m not on my break i am always doing something which is amazing because i like being productive

  • Yes

  • it’s a calm and friendly environment. everyone is welcoming and always has a smile. we love small talk and getting to know our clients which makes us carry out the best service we can. our private room makes clients feel comfortable and at ease if it’s their first appointments

  • feel relaxed we are not here to judge you we are here to give a full 5 star service to you. we are very welcoming and always happy to help you with any questions you may have about ur appointments or after care. we love giving the best service we can do.
