I worked in the work experience team. I handled data and made sure reports were done. I worked with external agencies to ensure students were getting the most out of their time at the college. I also helped the student union.
My confidence grew massively as a result of working at the college and I learnt more about how to deal with people, how to make phone calls and how to do spreadsheets.
It was a fairly standard programme. I did not get the opportunity to attend any classes or sessions so did have to do my apprenticeship alone. I also did not get my day release to do my apprenticeship so has to do it while working.
Not well structured. I did ok as I am relatively self motivated but if I wasn't I'm certain I would have failed.
My employer was also my training provider. They were good at supporting me as an employee but not as a student.
Not much, I had to do a lot by myself.
I am much more confident which has helped my flourish in my chosen profession. It helped me gain an understanding of how to use different systems and what industry I want to work in.

Good CPD opportunities, good pension, good money for an apprentice.
Be self motivated.
