  • Completing project work on engineering project for the corporate section of the bank using multiple coding languages to achieve sections of the project.

  • Learnt multiple new coding languages. Networking and new team work skills.

  • I enjoy learning new skills and applying them on real solutions furthermore, using these skills to problem solve on projects as well as benefitting the team.

  • Very well structured with both apprentice objectives and university work there is always new skills being learnt.

  • I receive a good level of support from my employer with both central and university work.

  • Good amount of support have many people I can go to the organisation for with help and if I need time off from work to complete university.

  • Learning new coding skills has helped me to understand project work, the business skills unit helped me understand how projects are driven and created.

  • There are numerous social activities and networking events although no sports teams but these have been affected by covid.

  • A great organisation to work in and have the ability to grow within expanding skills and networking.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?
  • Focus on problem solving skills and dont worry about level of technological skills as you can learn these on the job.
