  • 1. Please give an overview of what your virtual experience involved:
  • I have started a managers network training program and this has been delivered via teams, this is a training course on which we meet every 2 months and complete key CPD plan, working with other managers in the setting and also we receive key training on a range of management styles and techniques.

  • 2. What training and skills development did you learn from your virtual experience?
  • I have developed my on CPD plan and focusing on key areas of my development to ensure I m the best manager for my team that I can be. I have learnt more around the value of feedback, how to provide positive and constructive feedback well to others, also motivation techniques and learnt more about what type of manager I am.

  • 3. To what extent did you enjoy your virtual experience?
  • I really enjoy spending this time with Kim our trainer and also the other managers across the business, this has given my a better understanding on how others work and sharing good working practices has been key to my own development in my role. Every session is very well planned and very interactive.

  • 4. How well organised was your virtual experience?
  • Very well planned out sessions, all are very well prepared with lots of break out activities to ensure this is as interactive as it can be. All sessions are completed with a prior activity to ensure we are all starting with the same knowledge and we have also been grouped in lines with our relevant experiences.

  • 5. How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?
  • I have learnt that are core values are imbedded in all business areas and all managers support and imbed these core values across all teams and this ensures we are imbedding our core values across the company. These are discussed in all of our training sessions and this is very evident.

  • 6. How much did your virtual experience help you in deciding on your future career path?
  • It has helped me develop my career path as this was a pathway I have recently been working on and this course has really enhanced my knowledge and empowered me to want to continue in my role and also helped me in managing my own team to successful ends.

  • Yes, I am paid for all my time attached to the training and this has never been deducted for me to attend any Managers networking training and also provided with time aside the actual sessions to prepare, evaluate and also to complete tasks that are set for me to work through the training.

  • 8. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?
  • Yes, as discussed above. The manager networking training is an internal training and all other managers in the business are in this program and this has supported me in building relationships with others outside my team and also to see how others work and also imbed the core values across the teams.

  • Let me play education really care about their learners/ staff and employers and always encourage others to strive to meet their potential and with the support of well trained and supportive tutors it really feels compassion is instrumental to their delivery and approach and you feel this in all aspects of the training.

  • To achieve success this is the right place to start, with tutors from a wide range of experiences and teaching backgrounds this really is the place to start with any training opportunities you are seeking. LMP believe in people and really want people to achieve and to strive towards success.
