    8/10

  • It's a bit all over the place but that is down to the college I am with not having teachers available and not communicating with us apprentices well.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Tonnes! I have never received so much support in both my work load and mental health from an employer. My boss couldn't be better at looking after me and my feelings and my training.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Little to none. They are not very good, anything I have learned is either from work or its self taught.

    2/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Do not feel confident at all, training provider hasn't done much training. Learnt more from doing the work than anything and that's made me perform better.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There hasn't been any opportunity for this over the last year due to the pandemic and from working at home. We have had a few social team meetings where we have just had a nice chat and catch up

  • 9a. Would you recommend Jisc to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Its a great place to work, people are friendly and the managers are super supportive (well mine is at least)

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Jisc?
  • I wouldn't know yet, as I haven't met many people face to face at work so I can't say how the office environment is full of people
