  • Supporting the senior fee earners with progressing their cases, preparing for court hearings. Drafting letters and emails to clients outlining advice and information given. Preparing court bundles, sitting in on client meetings and taking notes.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My written and oral communication skills have definitely improved since drafting emails and letters to clients on a day to day basis. Having had no legal skills prior to starting my apprenticeship, I have learnt a lot.

  • I very much enjoy my apprenticeship and hope to continue working as a paralegal.

  • I feel that it is well organised and I have had a good experience.

  • I receive a lot of support from my supervisor.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Quite a bit of support, we have calls every 6-8 weeks to check in.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • If it wasn't for my qualification through the training provider, I would not know as much as I do about law. This has provided vital knowledge.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have plenty of extra-curricular activities, including our charities organisation, pro bono and many more.

  • Yes

  • A really good law firm with loyal clients and excellent solicitors.

  • Be yourself and get involved in as much as possible.
