  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • By doing this apprenticeship it opened my eyes to a lot that goes on within the insurance market, I have taken this knowledge on board and applied this within my daily roll. I have a much better understanding how my day to day work affects not just the team but the wider business as a whole and how in turn this affects the customers and external clients.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed taking part of the program, found the resources very helpful. There was always someone on hand if I had a query or needed help with a part of the course. It also gave me the opportunity to get to know other people within my office and work along side them during training sessions.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Personally I found the structure of the course very easy to follow, it was easy to stay on top of what I had outstanding and track my process using onefile. My tutor as well as my team leader were both very supportive and on hand to help organise workloads and plan out revision plans when needed.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I had regular meetings with my tutor to discuss my progress and learning on the knowledge books ahead of my exams. He was always on hand if I need a call or help via email. We also had training / revision sessions which were booked in my a trainer at FWD who hosted a full day session where we went through each chapter key points and exam tips. They also covered any points which individuals wanted to cover in more detail.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • At work we do quite a few charity days where different members of the company host different things for example like quiz's or auctions etc. We also have quarterly social events, for two of these a year they are for the whole office and it gets everyone together and the other two is usually just a team event where we can pick and choose how we want to spend our allowance and time. As well as the above there is a usually an event going on through the wider group which comes round on the weekly news email.
