  • Assisting my boss in all tasks. Including chasing out walls, running cables, second fixing, cleaning and labouring.

  • Terminating cables, using hand tools and power tools and information about testing electrical instalations.

  • I am enjoying learning the technical (scientific) side of electrical installation and working on sites rather than at a desk in an office.

  • My programme is well structured with targets and deadlines to keep the process moving along.

  • My employer supports my learning process and encourages my to research in spare time.

  • My training provider supports our learning process by making sure all class members are keeping up with each other. They also provide extra information to assist future learning.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Working in the workshop gives me a chance to practice and develop my practical skills. Learning the science behind the electrical installations helps me understand what the tests I'm doing on installations actually mean.

  • There is an annual meal that happens. The boss uses this as an opportunity to thank the employees.
