Nursery practitioner, I am required to ensure all children are safe and feel comfortable within the nursery and ensuring that the children learn right from wrong

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learnt skills like safeguarding and first aid

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme. The staff are all friendly and lovely and I love to see the children I have looked after and worked with grow and start school

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

They are very organised and are on track with everything and notify you of any changes to the curriculum and EYFS

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive support for everything whether it’s personal things or work things. I know that my employer is always there for me and will ensure I am happy

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive so much support from my training provider. They understand if I am struggling and help as much as possible

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It really helps me to see things from others perspectives and helps me to develop my practice as I grow. I can see what I need to improve on and what I am strong on

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes we have out of work get together a to help us grow as a team and get to know everyone

Yes

9b. Why?

I would recommend them as the company is hardworking and treat their employees with respect and kindness. I am never unhappy at work and they are always their for me if I need anything. It also has helped me grow as a practitioner

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Gruntys day care nursery?

Be yourself. They are an amazing company who don’t want someone who isn’t passionate about the job
