Trainee Business Manager Review

As a Trainee Business Manager I am given tasks which ensures the organisation of HR files is up to date. General office administration work. Interacting with residents, staff and other healthcare professionals while participating in management meetings.

The programme I am on is very well structured

I receive lots of support from my employer, whether it is for studies or support at work when trying to understand things. the manager is great to work for and there is also an Employee Assistance Programme in place, which any employee can turn to.

I receive support from my provider when working towards my qualification. I am given all the time I need for when working towards my qualification, I enjoy both the qualification aspect and working aspect of the apprenticeship

The qualification I am studying toward compliments the work I do, e.g. working on an organisational strategy and I have learnt about them and what they are. It really helps me.

Yes I enjoy going to the gym and DJ ing in my spare time outside of work and university

The Management and Directing staff are very friendly, approachable and are around to talk to. It's a warm working environment. And the residents are really at the heart of what The Shrubbery Rest Home does.

Not to be afraid to approach management when needing assistance. You have to want to work in a care home with Dementia, Parkinson's and and disabilities
