  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work with our programme manager to provide support to the product owners to track our projects for the year and planning for our projects for the next year. I support resource allocations for our team as well as continuous improvement of our processes.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed on my organizational skills as well as timekeeping and communication skills. I have learned kills such as coding and technical analysis through my degree and my role.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme I am on, I am able to learn in a fast pace environment which is supplemented by my course. I enjoy the variety that comes with the programme and being able to learn about lots of different topics which I practice in the workplace.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is very well structured. It is set out with a yearly structure, with what we will study each year as well as specific objectives that are to be completed.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a great amount of support. I have a line manager who I have regular catch ups with who is always helping me to succeed as well as helping me with any problems I have. I also have a career coach who I also have regular 1-1's with who provides me with support both for any personal or work related issues.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have the support from each of my tutors when learning each module who provides any help and guidance necessary to help me. I also have a learning advisor who guides me towards planning my goals and my career path.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • There are many occasions where I have been asked to do something at work where I haven't known how to do it, I'm asked to try and learn how to. My degree has many modules in, each module provides me with knowledge and understanding of different technical tools etc which I am then able to use in my role to complete tasks that I couldn't do before.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I have been involved in some networking events, for example we did a virtual coffee morning.
