  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As part of the compliance team my role is to clear our shared compliance inbox and print documents that our staff send in. I then organise and stamp the documents and scan them to my team who upload the documents onto our staff's files. I also look after any staff that come in for an interview and take any documents from them in person.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My tech skills have gotten better because i need to use a computer at work everyday, especially programs such as excel and the software we use at work. I have also developed my communication skills from speaking to our staff and team members.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme quite a lot because i am learning a lot about the health sector and am gaining skill i otherwise would not have learnt in another programme or university.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is really well organised, i have planned meetings and reviews which i can be flexible with to fit my schedule and i get regular feedback and help when i need it.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer. We have agreed on taking some time out of work every week to work on coursework and i receive a lot of feedback and support from my employer as well.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We have monthly review meeting where we assess the work that i have completed and i have received a lot of support in the form of useful apps to use, extra feedback, workshops etc.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification is closely linked to my job role and i am learning more about my company through the qualification.

  • We have social events regularly internally and occasionally we have workshops within the company or training days.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The people i work with are friendly and easy to socialise with so it was easy for me to adapt to the working environment and I've received a lot of support since i started.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Zentar Healthcare?
  • At first it may seem like there is a lot to do or a lot going on but everyone is there to help and it's fine to ask questions.
