As part of the compliance team my role is to clear our shared compliance inbox and print documents that our staff send in. I then organise and stamp the documents and scan them to my team who upload the documents onto our staff's files. I also look after any staff that come in for an interview and take any documents from them in person.
My tech skills have gotten better because i need to use a computer at work everyday, especially programs such as excel and the software we use at work. I have also developed my communication skills from speaking to our staff and team members.
I enjoy the programme quite a lot because i am learning a lot about the health sector and am gaining skill i otherwise would not have learnt in another programme or university.
It is really well organised, i have planned meetings and reviews which i can be flexible with to fit my schedule and i get regular feedback and help when i need it.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. We have agreed on taking some time out of work every week to work on coursework and i receive a lot of feedback and support from my employer as well.
We have monthly review meeting where we assess the work that i have completed and i have received a lot of support in the form of useful apps to use, extra feedback, workshops etc.
The qualification is closely linked to my job role and i am learning more about my company through the qualification.
We have social events regularly internally and occasionally we have workshops within the company or training days.
Yes
The people i work with are friendly and easy to socialise with so it was easy for me to adapt to the working environment and I've received a lot of support since i started.
At first it may seem like there is a lot to do or a lot going on but everyone is there to help and it's fine to ask questions.
