  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • During my apprenticeship, I am proud to say I have learnt many new skills which I know will help me in the future. The biggest skill I have learnt is being a professional in the setting. Due to myself meeting with external professionals such as Sen specialist, child psychologist , OP I have definitely gained so much confidence in myself.

  • I absolutely love my role as a teaching assistant, I have received the full support from my work place as well as from my training provider. I have made many mew contacts and will definitely be in touch with them even after finishing my apprenticeship. This apprenticeship really did give me a very powerful insight of what it’s like to be a qualified teaching assistant.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My apprenticeship is very structured, during the start of the apprenticeship, I had a induction and was introduced to my tutor. She then gave me an overview of what my apprenticeship consists of. Also sent me some useful links to websites and as well as a leaner book which I could buy to help myself with the assignments.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are many activities offered at my work place such as sports teams, year group quizzes, Christmas dinner and parties where we all can join and celebrate together as one big team. There would alway been snacks provided in the staff room. However due to COVID 19, this has been stopped this year until further notice.

  • 9a. Would you recommend LMP Group to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Let Me Play has not only given me a level 3 diploma but also great memories and achievements that I will always cherish throughout my life. I have received all the support I needed to develop as a professional as well as completing my level 3. I high recommend them!!

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to LMP Group?
  • I would definitely give the tip of being organised with assignments and if you don’t understand something then definitely speak up and don’t leave it to last minute. It can be tough if your not up to date with the assignments. Always attend your remote sessions and ask questions away to make sure you know what you are doing.
