  • My day to day role involves the chemical analysis of routine or stability drugs that AstraZeneca make and ensure they meet the correct specification before they are cleared for patient use.

  • i have learnt a verity of laboratory skills as well as communication and the confidence to work efficiently within the team.

  • i have fully enjoyed my experience so far and which it continues.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • the program lacks slightly in structure when it comes to the work place but the university side is structured well that allows me to stay on track

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • i receive all the support i need from my employer who is always available to talk to and clear up any concerns. Though communication to where i might be in the future is unclear at this moment.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider are clear when it comes to the schedule i need to adhere to however personal communication with the lectures can sometimes be delayed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It benefits me as i can use the knowledge learnt and use it to enhance my praticale skills. Though alot of the qualification knowledge is not crossed over in my day to day role.

  • Due to the current climate it is limited but under normal circumstances yes.

  • Yes

  • A great place to work with a great atmosphere and is a well recognised company to work for worldwide.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AstraZeneca?
  • It is a lot of work that you will need to keep track of. Take every opportunity that is given. If you keep onto of the work load it is a great place to work where you are not viewed as an Apprentice.
